摘要
本文通过对《布鲁斯特街的女人们》和《布鲁斯特街的男人们》两个文本的探讨,提出"孪生隐含作者"一说,并在这一概念的指导下对两个文本进行合一阅读,挖掘"孪生隐含作者"在此"冤家"姊妹篇中的立场与观点,从而进一步探讨文本的主题。
Through the study of The Women of Brewster Place and The Men of Brewster Place,this essay advances the idea that the twin implies authors.From margin to center,the black men in The Women of Brewster Place and The Men of Brewster Place regain their right of voice,which helps to strengthen black women＇s power of voice.When readers,men or women,put the two books together,they will realize how important ＂voice＂ is.To Naylor,women and men all should have their equal right to voice out.They should not only tell their own story but also read each other＇s story and communicate with each other.
