Advances and Evaluation of Metal Magnetic Memory NDT Technique

摘要 金属磁记忆是近年来发展起来的一种新的磁无损检测方法,可以实现对工业中大量使用的铁磁材料和铁磁结构早期损伤实现有效诊断。但由于其发展历史较短、理论模型缺乏、实验干扰因素较多,目前还限于机理性探讨和仅能提供定性化测试结果。结合本课题组研究成果及其他学者的相关报道,本文对近年来本领域研究成果进行综述性评价。内容涉及基本判据建立、漏磁表征参数确定、实验测试数据的有效性及影响因素、理论物理模型建立等方面。最后,对该方法今后研究趋势作了展望。 Metal Magnetic Memory (MMM) is a newly developed magnetic non-destructive testing (NDT) method. It is effective in characterizing the early damage of widely-used ferromagnetic materials and structures in engineering. However, at the present time this technique is still limited as a mechanism investigation and applied as a qualitative NDT tool due to its short history, lack of robust theoretical basis and varied disturbance factors in testing. This review outlines the research progress of the MMM technique in the last decade. Some key points were discussed, including criteria of using MMM technique to judge the damage state (plastic deformation or macro-crack), the character parameters to provide a quantitative evaluation on the testing result, some affecting factors of experimental results, and the physical model to describe such non-elastic magnetic-stress coupling effect. Finally, some future development trends about this technique are suggested.
