摘要
三酰甘油(TAG)是植物的主要储藏脂类,二酰甘油酰基转移酶(DGATs)催化TAG生物合成的最后一步乙酰化反应,使二酰甘油加上一个脂肪酰基形成TAG。因此,DGATs被认为是TAG生物合成过程中最关键的限速酶。重点介绍了植物DGATs及其编码基因的分类、结构以及在植物油脂合成中的作用及应用的最新研究进展,以期为应用基因工程等技术提高植物油脂(如种子油)含量或改善油脂品质提供参考。
Triacylglycerol (TAG) is the main storage lipid in plants, Diacylglycerol acyhransferases (DGATs) catalyze the final step of TAG biosynthesis by transferring an acyl group from fatty acyl-CoA to the diacylglycerol backbone. Thus, DGATs are thought to be the most critical rate-limiting enzymes in TAG biosynthesis. In this paper, the latest research advances in the classifications and structures of DGATs and the coding genes as well as their functions and applications in TAG biosynthesis were reviewed, which could be helpful for improving the quality and quantity of plant storage lipids such as seed oils by genetic manipulations.
