This thesis studies the problems in the present industrial structure of Gansu province and attempts to work out some ways to deal with these problems. From a systematic point of view, the paper firstly makes an overall investigation of the interrelations of the inner industrial structure and the relationship between the industrial structure and its outside environment so as to search for the problems in the industrial structure of Gansu province at the present stage. Then the paper examines the comprehensive development capability of various industries, selects the leading industries, and finally offers some suggestions on the industrial policy of Gansu province.
