摘要
提高光能利用率是现阶段LED微型投影仪的技术难题,而提高光源的取光效率则是提高整机光效的前提和根本途径。对于以LED为代表的朗伯源,其光学元件的结构是制约光能利用率的最大因素。我们提出了一种基于多球面单透镜的LED光源设计方案并进行了光学仿真,将LED的一次封装和二次光学设计整合为一体,简化了光源系统结构,取光效率提高到94.9%,同时压缩了出光角度和光学扩展量。
The Improvement of light extraction efficiency of LED light source is the key and precondition in improving the lighting efficiency of micro projector. The max factor in restricting the light extraction rate of LED is the configuration of light source. A novel optical design of LED's encapsulation lens with multiple spherical surfaces is introduced and simulated. By using this single stage lens for both encapsulation and optical distribution, the light extraction efficiency of this new designed LED light source is improved to 94.9%, and the beam angle and the 6tendue are both excellently condensed. Also, the configuration of light source system is simplified as well.
