摘要
语言交际中词汇搭配的正确使用是保证语言流利度和地道性的关键之一。搭配习得研究表明,即使是高水平的学习者也会出现搭配使用错误。搭配问题一直被传统英语学习词典所忽略。本文总结了二语习得领域有关词汇搭配习得的发现,同时评述了词典研究领域对词典使用和搭配习得的最新研究。本文发现,尽管词典编纂者付出种种努力来处理词典中的搭配信息,但大多数词典使用者却忽略了这一部分的信息,以致词典未能真正帮助学习者习得搭配知识。基于心理学和认知科学的原理,本文就如何提高词典搭配信息的被关注度和查阅率、如何保持被查阅的搭配信息的长期记忆等方面提出了建议。
Natural English use is featured by the correct use of collocations. The collocation acquisition research shows that even advanced learners cannot avoid errors in L2 performance. The present study provides a summary of recent collocation acquisition studies concerning the relationship between collocation acquisition and use of dictionaries. It also offers a series of proposals on how to activate learners to consult a learner's dictionary for collocation information, how to make such informa- tion salient in the dictionary and how to help learners store this information in the long-term memory effectively.
