摘要
新疆若羌瓦石峡古城位于塔里木盆地南缘,是丝绸之路上的一处重要遗址。本文从遗址出土冶金遗物的检验分析入手,结合古代矿冶遗址的调查与研究,探讨了瓦石峡遗址的古代冶金技术。文章报告了遗址出土的炉渣、坩埚等冶金遗物的科学分析结果,并讨论了其冶炼工艺,认为此处采用过木炭进行生铁冶炼与炒铁联用的冶炼工艺。对瓦石峡遗址出土的冶金遗物进行科学研究,对于认识其冶金技术水平和中西技术交流有着重要意义。
The ancient city of Washixia at Ruoqiang, Xinjiang is located on the southern edge of the Tarim Basin and is an important site along the Silk Road. This paper introduces the examination of metallurgical remains and discusses ancient metallurgical technology by surveying and researching ancient mining and smelting ruins. The slag, crucibles and other metallurgical relics unearthed from this site are analyzed with scientific methods. Local smeking technology is also discussed. Research shows that cast iron smelting using charcoal was used with puddling steel technology at Washixia.It is significant to understand the metallurgical technology as well as its role in East-West technological communication by studying metallurgical remains from the Song and Yuan Dynasties found at Washixia.
