摘要
新建本科院校为地方经济和社会发展提供着坚强的人才和智力支撑,是我国高等教育发展不可或缺的重要力量。新建本科院校如何规避办学定位不准确、办学目标不明确、办学模式千篇一律、培养的人才缺乏特色和竞争力,如何选择适合自身的、科学的发展道路,培养出高素质、有特色的高级应用型人才,铜陵学院的改革与实践是值得借鉴的。
