摘要
加强公民意识教育,是促进人的全面发展的时代要求和现实内涵,也是福建省实践科学发展观、建设科学发展先行区的应有之义。当前福建省已经具备了公民意识教育先行先试的现实基础和条件。进一步加强公民意识教育,需要政府官员转变发展观念,高度重视人的现代化在经济社会发展中的地位和作用;需要在公民知识的传播方面,充分发挥各级各类学校在公民意识教育中的主渠道作用;需要拓展民意表达渠道,建立健全公民参与机制,为公民依法行使民主权利、参与基层公共事务提供必要的制度保证。
Raising Citizen Awareness meets the requirement for people＇s overall development in modem times. Fujian, in developing the pilot region with the scientific concept of Development, has need and readiness for pilot citizenship education in this province. Governmental officials need learn to value the important human roles in economic and social development, educational institutions at all levels are expected to give full play in undertaking the main part of citizen awareness education, and mechanism is to develop to guarantee smooth expression of public opinion and exercise of citizen rights to get involved in grass-root public affairs.
