摘要
朱子是中国书院制度的实际开创者。书院的主要功能和特点,是由学者主持并担任讲席,自任"学统"以实现"道统"。书院既是教育阵地,又是研究与著述场所,集教学、研究和著述于一身。书院形式开创了自由研究、自由讲学之风,有利于学术争鸣与交流,推动了学术发展。朱子制定的学规,确立了书院的宗旨、教育目的、任务与方法,提倡独立自主精神。所有这些,为当代中国教育的发展提供了宝贵经验。
Zhu Xi was the founder of Chinese academy system.The major function and feature of the academy was that the scholar served as the lecturer to realize "daotong" through "xuetong".The academy was not only the place of teaching and learning but also the venue for research and writing.For the first time,the form of academy developed the atmosphere of freedom for researching and lecturing,which was conducive to academic contention and communication and promoted academic development.His rules and regulations for learning set up the academy's aim,educational goal,task and approach,which were characterized an independent spirit.All these can provide precious experience for the development of contemporary Chinese education.
