摘要
以认知语言学为理论基础,用对比的方法,在六个维度:认知视角、活跃区、参照体—目标、图形—背景、刻画的详略度、语法化,研究了英汉复合词的特点。在结构上虽然英汉复合词有着相同的认知基础,但在复合的具体策略上,英语和汉语的表现有时并不相同,这一发现加深了对复合词的认识,更有助于改进复合词的教学。
This paper studies the characteristics of English and Chinese composite words theoretically based on cognitive linguistics by means of comparison at six dimensions: cognitive perspective,active zone,reference object-target,graphics-background,detailing degree of description,and grammaticalization.Structurally speaking,both English and Chinese composite words have the same cognitive foundation.However,in terms of specific composite strategies,English is different from Chinese from time to time.This discovery helps deepen knowledge of composite words and is favorable to improving composite word teaching.
