摘要
In foreign language and second langrage learning, learners are strongly affected by motivation which falls in two categories, integrative and instrumental. Other less influential motivational theories contribute to our understanding of motivation as well. This paper aims at analyzing the influence of both internal motivation variables and external motivation variables upon foreign language learning.
在第二语言和外语学习的过程中,学习者很大程度上受到学习动机的影响。学习动机分为两类:结合性动机和工具性动机。前者指学习者学习一种语言是为了成为目的语国家的成员并与目的语文化融为一体;后者指学习一种语言是为了摹写工具型的目标,比如找工作,通过考试等。其他影响较小的学习动机理论也有助于我们理解学习动机。本文着力分析了内部动机因素以及外部动机因素对外语学习的影响。
