摘要
This study seeks to explore a more practical way to acquire fluency in English. Against the normal concept of 'accuracy' and 'fluency', it offers a new insight into fluency to assist English learners to operate in the English language the same way as in their mother-tongue languages. The author suggests teaching lexical phrases whilst expecting the active use of language to reach what Brumfit calls 'natural language use' and provides a new remedy for the so-called 'deaf-mute' English learning situation in China.
本文旨在探索一条较为可行的教学方法,以便帮助学生提高说英语的流利程度。与传统的"正确与流利"概念不同,本文对语言的流利性注入了新的见解,目的是帮助英语学习者在用英语表达时能像使用其母语那样自然流畅。作者建议实行词块教学,旨在语言的活用,实现Brumfit提出的"使用地道语言",以便改变中国的聋哑英语学习状况。
