摘要
中国传统翻译理论强调翻译的整体效果,长于概括,表述高度凝练、寓意朦胧,不讲求微观关照和定量分析。这恰和中国传统画论中的"气韵生动"、"谨毛失貌"、"雪里芭蕉"等创作原理十分相似。本文通过画论与译论的对比研究,从一个侧面来解读中国传统译论的艺术特质。
Placing emphasis on the overall effect,traditional Chinese translation theories,which pay little heed to microcosmic studies and quantitative analysis,show their strong points through refining,mistiness and generalization.The traditional translation theories are quite similar to some concepts of painting.In doing comparative studies of transla- tion theories and painting,we can better understand the artistic nature of the traditional Chinese translation theories.
