摘要
理据性给意义生成提供了始源性的动力,也为语言符号能指与所指的结合注入了自组织秩序,因此语言理据研究具有重要的理论价值与实践意义。从本体论角度讲,理据研究覆盖了语言问题探索中的基本论题。从认识论角度说,理据研究可以成为揭示语言奥秘的崭新视角。从方法论角度看,理据研究是探究语言符号生成缘由的有效手段。
Motivation does not only drive the being of the signification but also make the link possible between the signifier and the signified of linguistic signs. In this sense, the motivation-oriented study of language has both theoretical and empirical significance. Ontologically, the study concerns the fund amental issue of language resea rch; epistemologically, it is a new perspective on understanding language; methodologically, it becomes an effective approach to language study.
