摘要 文章主要介绍了基于ARM的车牌识别(license plate recognition简称LPR)是指通过识别车辆车牌来认证车辆身份的技术,它是智能交通系统(Intelligent Transportation System简称ITS)的技术基础,是计算机视觉、图像处理技术与模式识别技术的融合,是智能交通系统(ITS)中重要的研究课题。大多数ITS项目都是建立在此基础上的。嵌入式车牌识别技术的研究和开发具有巨大的经济价值和现实意义。 This article mainly introduces the license plate identification based on ARM (license plate recognition LPR) is through the vehicle license plate identification authentication vehicles to the identity of the technology, It is Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) as Intelligent fundamental System, is the basic technology of computer vision, image processing and pattern recognition, the fusion of Intelligent Transportation System ( ITS is an important research topic in). Most of ITS projects are built on the basis of the license plate identification. Embedded license plate identification technology research and development with the great economic value and practical significance.
