表示列举未尽和列举已尽是现代汉语助词"等"的两大功能,这两种用法都有存在的必要性,表示列举未尽的"等"可以使表达简洁,表示列举已尽的"等"可以彰显、提示停顿,并能传达一定的隐含信息;但是助词"等"的这两种用法在一定情况下会引起歧义,需要加以规范。
The auxiliary word of ＂Deng＂ has two main usages,which are not listing completely and listing completely.The two usages are indispensable.The usage of not listing completely can make the expression simplified,while the usage of listing completely can underline pause and can convey some connotative meaning.But the two usages can be confused in certain circumstance.It needs to be standardized.
