摘要
模糊限制语主要有表示能愿、性质和状态、不确定、强调和推测等几种类型。模糊限制语在新闻中可缩小模糊的范围,使语义较明晰、具体;可改变明晰中心词或明晰命题的真值条件,提高模糊度,使表义具有灵活性;可舒缓肯定或否定的口气。以汉语新闻为例的模糊限制语研究还相当薄弱,应该加强汉语新闻模糊限制语的研究。
Hedges cover willingness,nature,state,uncertainty,assertion and prediction.They are used in news reports for the specification of scope,the establishment of meanings and the modification of propositions.It is assumed that the research on Chinese hedges can contribute to the study of this genre.
