On the basis of the water quality targets of water function zone,a watershed water environmental model is used to calculate the dynamic TMDL of the control units within Tahui Lake Basin with a long time series of hydrological condition.Based on the water ecological carrying capacity theory,a multi-objective optimization model is developed considering social factor,economic factor,ecological factor and environmental factors.The multi-objective optimization model is used for optimizing distribution of the pollution loads among different pollution sources based on the TMDL of each control unit.Thus,the watershed pollutant allocation method system is composed of the watershed environment model,the dynamic TMDL calculation model,and multi-objective optimization model.The proposed method was used for the total pollutant allocation in the Taihu Lake Basin and the allowable pollutant emissions and pollutant reductions of each control unit are finally obtained.
