对北京广播电视大学英语专业本科学生辍学的质性研究被引量：10

摘要本文描述了针对北京电大英语专业本科学生辍学严重而展开的实证研究。本研究主要采用质性研究的方法,对辍学学生进行网上问卷调查、电话录音访谈、面对面访谈等方式,探究辍学的原因,并对与学生辍学紧密相关的外围人员,如班主任、辅导教师进行访谈,以期印证学生自述的辍学原因和挖掘学生不自知或不愿表露的因素,力求找到学生辍学的真正根源。文章还通过对没有辍学分校学生和班主任的访谈,从另一个侧面用比较的方法说明为什么有的学生能够坚持下去,而有的学生却半途放弃。最后,文章对降低学生辍学率提出了建议,并指出下一步应该采取的措施。本研究对远程高等学历教育在转型期应对市场变化所带来的挑战具有借鉴意义。
