摘要
不同的语言有不同的文化背景,不了解英语国家的文化,要想学好英语是不可能的。文章阐述了英语文化学习对英语语言学习的重要影响,提出开发校本课程满足学生对英语文化的学习需求。根据不同年级学生的心理特点、认知能力和英语水平,通过英语儿歌、童谣、谚语、故事、歌曲、短剧、人文阅读、电影赏析等方式开设英语文化课程,促进了学生的英语学习。该研究成果具有一定的迁移性,可引发人们对中小学英语教育改革的进一步思考。
Different language has different cultural background. It is impossible to learn English well without learning about English culture. It is stated in the article that English culture learning has a great impact on the study of English. Therefore, it is up on the agenda to develop a school - based curriculum to meet students' needs. The development of the curriculum is based on different grade students' psychological characteristics, cognitive competence and English level. In the course students enjoy a variety of English activities such as children' s songs, rhymes, proverbs, stories, short plays, reading, and movies, which has greatly promoted students' English study. The result of the research has migration and will probably stimulate people' s further thinking of the reform of the English education in elementary and secondary school.
