This article introduces the effect of steam initial parameter and final parameters for thermal efficiency of large thermal power generating units,gives details on the effect of improve the initial temperature and pressure on the Ideal cycle thermal efficiency and the absolute efficiency of turbine,illustrates the restrictions when improve steam initial pressure and temperature,further more,describes the effect and restrictions of reduce steam final parameters on thermal efficiency of power plant.
