摘要
概念隐喻理论是认知语言学中关于意义构建的理论。它强调隐喻是人类日常生活和表达中的一种无意识的思维方式和认识世界的途径。人们通常把比较熟悉和具体的概念域映射到不太熟悉和比较抽象的概念域上,这种从源域向目标域"跨域映射"的过程是人们概念形成的重要认知工具。中国古典散文中的意象具有丰富的中国文化底蕴和渊源,其表达方式充满文化图式,如何将这些富含文化内涵的意象概念传译到译文中去是中国古典散文翻译的难点。在认知语言学的视野下,以概念隐喻理论为指导,通过译例比较分析和探讨中国古典散文意象翻译的技巧。
Conceptual metaphor theory,which emphasizes that metaphor is an unconscious thinking mode and an approach to know the world,is an important theory about conceptual construction in cognitive linguistics.The process of ＂cross-domain mapping＂ by which people know the unknown via the known is a vital tool for human＇s cognition.Images in Chinese classical artistic essays（CCAE） are endowed with Chinese traditional culture and historic sources;therefore,their expressions are filled with cultural schema.From the perspective of cognitive linguistics and under the guidance of conceptual metaphor theory,a probe into translation techniques of image translation of CCAE is made on the basis of comparison and analysis of selected versions.
