摘要
在环境库兹涅茨曲线理论假设基础上,选用了2008年中国284个城市截面数据,运用回归分析方法,分析了中国城市环境库兹涅茨曲线的存在性。结果表明:中国284个城市的人均收入与人均硫排放之间存在环境库兹涅茨曲线。观测到大部分城市位于曲线的初始及上升阶段,少部分城市接近于曲线顶点,证实了中国城市人均收入水平决定了空气环境质量的污染水平。在此基础上计算出当人均硫排放处于拐点时人均GDP为100 172元。
Based on the Environmental Kuznets Curve theory hypothesis,using cross-section data from 284 cities in China in 2008 and regression analysis methods,the existence of Environmental Kuznets Curve for per capita sulfur emissions is empirically researched.The results are as follows:the most of cities lie in the curve of the initial and the rise stage,a small number of cities close to the curve peak,which confirms that the level of per capita income of China's urban determines the level of air quality of the environment pollution.On this basis,it is calculated that the per capita GDP is 100 172 RMB yuan when the per capita sulfur emissions reach to inflection point.
