摘要
多元智能理论中强调的"以学习者为中心、尊重学生的个体差异"的思想再一次颠覆了高职英语教学中"以教师为主体"的传统观念。文章首先提出了多元智能视角下高职英语教师如何定位角色的问题,接着从教学思想、教学方法、教学内容和学生评价手段这四个方面阐述了高职英语教师应努力成为更新教学观念鼓励个性化学习的倡导者、创新教学方法激发学生多元智能发展的促进者、组织专题学习的设计者和创立多元化的评价体系鼓励学生全面发展的实践者。
The learner-centered notion emphasized in the theory of MI involving the idea of "to respect students' intelligent individualities" again denies the traditional view of "teacher-centered teaching" at vocational colleges.This paper puts forward the question of how to be an English teacher at vocational colleges in the vision of the theory of MI and then illustrates the viewpoint of to be a teacher who encourages students to learn in their individual way by their multiple intelligences by innovating the traditional teaching notion,approaches and methods,teaching materials and evaluation.
