摘要
大学本科期间是大学生世界观、人生观形成的重要阶段,也是他们专业成长的关键时期。大学生活中,除师生之间的互动之外,学生之间的互动是影响学生思想和学术成长的重要因素。与西方住宿学院制等学生组织管理模式不同,中国在高校中长期实行行政班级制。这种学生互动的组织和管理模式对学生成长的影响是系统性的和显著的。实证研究表明,同班同学的学习能力对学生学习成绩有非常重要的影响,其显著性和影响力度甚至高于宿舍室友的影响,而且女生比男生更容易受周围同学的影响。
College life is a crucial period for undergraduate students to build up their philosophy of the world and life, and is also important for their academic development. Besides interactions between teachers and students, interactions between students themselves are another kind of significant interaction that may influence student opinions and academic achievement. Different from the western residential college, China has been using class as the basic organizational unit of student campus life. The peer effect of classmates on student achievement is very significant. According to the empirical study, the magnitude and significance of classmate peer effect are much larger than those of roommates. In addition, comparing to male students, female students are more likely to be affected by their peers.
