摘要
图像处理领域常用的矩阵算子计算量大、算法简单,具有并行结构的特点,特别适合在现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)上实现。为了解决FPGA芯片灵活性不足的问题,设计了一种图像实时预处理方法。首先,设计特殊的可配置式矩阵算子结构,采用此结构可以实现任意5×5矩阵或任意两个3×3矩阵的运算。然后,采用流水线结构对此方案进行了设计,通过矩阵计算、模式切换和状态机等单元的配合,可以实现图像实时处理。最后通过实验证明,此技术具有运算速度快、节约器件资源和可扩展性强的特点。
Matrix operators commonly used in image processing field have the characteristics of large calculation,simple method and parallel structure.And the operators are particularly suitable for using field programmable gate array(FPGA) to achieve.In order to make the FPGA chips more flexible,a real-time image preprocessing method was designed.Firstly,a special operator structure of configurable matrix was designed,which can operate any 5 × 5 matrix,or any two 3 × 3 matrixes.Then real-time image processing can be achieved by using pipeline architecture,matrix calculation,mode switching,state machines and other units.The experiments proved this method is fast and extensible.
