摘要
本文以美国著名翻译理论家尤金?奈达的功能对等翻译理论为指导,通过分析儿童日记体小说《小屁孩日记》的中译本,从"语意对等","风格对等"和"文化因素对等"等方面来探讨功能对等理论在儿童文学翻译中的应用,并对中译本中的不妥之处进行点评并提出建议。旨在验证该翻译理论能否指导翻译实践,实现目的语和源语的功能对等。
Equivalence Theories, proposed by Eugene A. Nida, are widely used in translation practice. By analyzing the theories＇ practical use in the Chinese translation of the famous novel Diary of a Wimpy Kid, this paper aims at the feasibility of Nida＇s Equivalence Theories as guidance for translation of children＇ s literature in terms of meaning, style and culture.
