彝族聚居区地理环境复杂,在其基础上发展起来的彝族医药内容丰富,形式多样。总结地理环境对彝族医药形成的作用:彝族医药基础理论受到地理位置临近的汉文化的深刻影响;彝族医药与所处地区的气候条件、生态环境,尤其所分布的动植物种类密切相关;彝族医药擅治生活环境的多发疾病或者采用一些适应当地环境的治疗方法;由于地理的隔绝.彝医多用单方或者简方。
