摘要
高岭土是一种重要的造纸填料,能够有效地提高纸张的平滑度、不透明度和白度,改善油墨吸收性,在高档文化用纸的生产中应用较多。但是,高岭土在应用时也存在留着率低的问题,即在造纸过程中容易流失,使填料的应用效率大大降低。本文讨论了通过吸附作用用阳离子淀粉改性高岭土用于纸张生产,经过改性的高岭土具有新的表面特性,在成纸过程中的流失大大降低,同时,纸张的物理特性得到改善。
Kaolin is a kind of filler used in paper especially in top-grade printing-writing paper,which can improve the properties of smoothness,opacity,brightness and ink absorption of paper.But the deficiency of low retention affect its use efficiency.In this paper,modifying kaolin using cationic starch and its application in papermaking as filler were discussed.The results showed that the surface-modified kaolin had new properties.The retention and physical properties of paper had improved.
