摘要
范畴是人们通过思维对世界进行认知分类的产物。文章指出范畴具有主观性,其表现在:范畴蕴含话语参与者的主观认识;范畴传递话语参与者的个体差异;范畴反映话语参与者的不同认知视角。在此基础上,文章进一步厘清了范畴的一些相关的理解问题:范畴化过程是共同属性统辖下由相似性参与确立的认知行为;范畴的层次性是理解范畴共同属性和相似性的必要前提;范畴的开放性使得范畴具有选择的可能性,是把握范畴模糊性和明确性的一个支点。范畴生成并呈现于人的知、行活动。
A category is the outcome of cognitive classification of the world via thinking.This paper argues that a category is more or less characterized by a feature of subjectivity,which can be examined in terms of a speaker's epistemic modality,a speaker's personal difference and a speaker's perspective.On the basis of the above-mentioned discussion,three relative problems are addressed as follows: categorization is a cognitive process with the participation of similarities,which is governed by common attributes;the layering of a category is a necessary prerequisite to understanding common attributes and similarities as well;the openness of a category is a pivot of comprehending the fuzziness and clarity of a category.A category is generated and presented in the cognition and action of human-beings.
