摘要
近代以来上海的城市文学是中国真正意义上城市文学的开始。在20世纪初的20年里,上海文学主要是沿着两条主干线索发展演变:一是言情文学,一是时议文学。前者主要是通过编织悲欢离合的婚恋故事,来迎合广大市民对于风月言情的天然爱好,以商业文化为支撑,突出世俗性,追求商业价值。而后者主要是突出城市作为舆论中心的功能和意义,强调文学的政治性和批判性。如果说言情显示出城市叙事的感性化和欲望化,时议则代表着城市理性。20世纪头20年上海之城市文学图景的出现有其历史、政治、文化原因。此后,时议与言情的交织发展贯穿着上海文学的现代历程。
Chinese urban literature began to be rooted in Shanghai after the Opium War broke out in 1840.In the first 20 years of the 20^(th) century,Shanghai literature mostly evolved and developed along two main stems;one was emotive literature,and the other critical literature.The former tell of love and marriage stories by intertwining joys of reunions with sorrows of separations to cater to the natural appetite of urban citizens for emotive romances.The emotive literature,supported by a business culture, highlights its secularity and seeks its commercial value.The latter gives prominence to the function and significance of a city as a centre of public opinions and lays emphasis upon the political and critical nature of literature.At the beginning of the 20th century, the vigorous development of Shanghai literature was attributed to historical,political and cultural factors of the city.Afterwards, the interwovenness of criticism and sensibility ran through the process of modern literature in Shanghai.
