摘要 随着嵌入式和多媒体压缩技术的发展,嵌入式终端在高清媒体领域扮演了愈来愈重要的角色.由于高清媒体的高带宽需求,多采用先下载后播放的方式,因此如何将大型多媒体文件通过网络快速传输到嵌入式终端上,成为一种迫切需求.在研究传统传输协议的基础上,立足于对嵌入式系统特点的分析,提出一种适用于嵌入式终端的大型多媒体文件传输协议EMFTP(Embedded Multimedia File Transfer Protocol,嵌入式媒体文件传输协议).该协议采用统一重传的差错恢复策略,并引入了基于带宽探测的改进的DAIMD速率控制算法.实验表明,与传统的UDT和FTP传输协议相比,EMFTP的数据传输速度更快,系统资源消耗更少. Along with the development of embedded and multimedia compression technology, embedded terminal plays a more and more important role in the high-definition media field. Due to the need of high bandwidth, high-definition media usually are down- loaded first before played. Therefore, it is imperative to transmit high definition media files to embedded multimedia terminals fast and effectively via network. Based on the analysis of traditional file transport protocols and the characteristic of embedded systems, this paper proposes a new file transport protocol - EMFTP ( Embedded Multimedia File Transfer Protocol ). The EMFTP protocol uses a method of uniform retransmission as its error recovery strategy and adopts an improved rate control algorithm based on bandwidth probe. As the experimental result shows, comparing with UDT and FTP protocol implemented on embedded terminal, EMPTP can achieve a faster transfer rate and lower resource occupancy on embedded system.
