摘要
提出了一种电路结构简单、成本低廉的新型单周期窄脉冲产生方法,设计的脉冲产生电路主要由基于阶跃恢复二极管和微波三极管的脉冲产生电路,基于肖特基二极管和终端并联短截线的脉冲整形电路以及RC微分电路三部分组成.分析了电路各部分的工作原理和设计方法,并利用ADS软件对整个电路进行仿真.实验测试结果表明,设计的脉冲产生电路能够产生峰峰值为7.6V、脉宽为500ps的单周期脉冲信号,且脉冲振铃小、波形质量高,与软件仿真结果基本吻合,是一种适用于超宽带穿墙探测雷达系统的单周期脉冲发射机电路.
A novel, compact, and low-cost ultra-short monocycle pulse generating method is presented. It is mainly consist of three parts: the pulse generating circuit composed of step recovery diode and microwave transistor, the pulse shaping circuit with Schottky diode and terminated shunt stub, and the RC differential circuit. The principle and design of the whole circuit was analyzed, and the circuit was simulated by using ADS software. The measured results show that the output waveform has 7.6 V peak-to-peak amplitude and 500 ps pulse duration with very low ringing level. Good agreement between the measured and simulation results is achieved. The monocycle pulse generator is very suitable for through-wall detecting radar transmitter.
