This paper provides a presentation on types of fixing agents,fixation mechanism and their applications,The demand of dye and fabric fiber to the performance of fixing agents was analyzed.The characteristics,research status and development direction of the waterborne polyurethane as the dye-fixing agents were intensively summarized.
