缺氧诱导因子-1与干细胞功能调控

摘要 缺氧诱导因子-1(HIF-1)是由α和β两种亚基组成的异源二聚体,是多细胞生物调节缺氧反应基因表达的一个关键性的核转录因子.缺氧和HIF-1不仅与各种缺血缺氧性和慢性炎症性疾病,包括恶性肿瘤的发病密切相关,而且作为特定病理生理条件下干细胞巢的重要组成因子之一,对多种类型的干细胞的生物学特性起重要的调控作用。作者就缺氧和HIF-1对干细胞功能的调节作用方面的研究进展作一综述. Hypoxia-inducible factor-1(HIF-1),a heterodimer composed of αand subunits,is the key transcriptional factor that governs the expression of an array of hypoxia responsive genes in multicellular organisms.Hypoxia and HIF-1 have been shown to be closely associated with the development of a wide range of ischemic and inflammatory diseases,including malignant tumors.Recent studies have shown that hypoxia,as a critical component of stem cell niche under certain physiological and pathological conditions,play an important role in the regulation of stem and progenitor cell functions.This article presents a brief review on the progress in the study of hypoxia and HIF-1 in regulating of stem cell behaviors.
