举办重大赛事将对城市社会、经济、文化及城市建设等方面产生积极的推动作用,为满足亚运会需要和实现城市长远发展,在广州城市总体发展战略规划和总体规划的基础上,广州制定了以亚运会推动城市产业升级、优化空间结构、加强宜居城市建设、打造文化名城品牌和提高基础设施承载力等亚运行动计划。在全面满足亚运会需求的前提下,广州通过优化城市布局、建设亚运城和城市重点地区、完善基础设施和服务设施、提升环境等举措实现城市发展。
The 2010 Asian Games will boost social,economic,and cultural aspects of Guangzhou＇s urban development.In preparation for the Games,Guangzhou made an Action Plan that included industrial improvement,optimizing the spatial structure,and livable city development strategies.The plan was implemented by building the Asian Games district,infrastructural development,new service facilities,and environmental preservation.
