The application and development situation of organosilicon defoamer in the pesticide formulation were reviewed in this paper. The conception, compositions and defoaming mechanism of organosilieon defoamers were summarized. The main organosilieon defoamers used in the pesticide industry were introduced. The organosilieon defoamers that would be further developed in the pesticide industry were discussed as well.
