摘要
"门客"是先秦时期独特的社会群体,论文针对"门客"为养者效力的方式、"门客"为养者效力的动机、"门客"在养者门下所处的地位等三方面对其进行分类。值得注意的是,虽然种种"门客"的行为动因有趋利性和交换性,但是以客观视角来看待"门客"精神,其可贵的品质——独立人格意识和自由不羁精神、诚信意识、道义观念,仍然值得今人借鉴。
Hangers-on are a unique social group in the pre-Qin period.The author of this paper attempts to classify hangers-on in terms of the way they serve their masters,the motive behind their service and their position in masters＇ household.It is worth noting that while hangers-on offered their service largely for securing profits and some gains in return,their spirit,together with its valuable quality—the sense of independent personality,the spirit of freedom and unrestraint,trustworthiness and the concept of morality and justice—is worth using for reference nowadays.
