摘要
随着城市的发展,城乡相互作用不断加强,在城市郊区出现了城乡要素逐渐过渡的新型地域实体——城市边缘区。在借鉴国内外学者对城市边缘区的认识和相关概念的基础上,以兰州市为例,构建了边缘区界定的指标体系,利用"断裂点法"对城市边缘区范围进行界定,同时对边缘区的特征、功能和存在的问题进行了系统总结,并提出了边缘区的发展趋势。
With the expansion of cities,the interaction between urban and rural areas has been continuously strengthened,and there appears a new type of region entity,namely,urban fringe,in which the essential factors between urban and rural areas are gradually changing.The urban fringe is an interleaving area formed by the interpenetration and interaction between urban and rural areas and is an important part in the development of urban society and economy.Owing to its intimate connection with the economic development,life style and ecosystem of urban areas,the development state of urban fringe not only concerns the development level of its own society and economy but has direct influence on realizing the strategic target of urban development.On the basis of scholars＇ opinions on the urban fringe both at home and abroad,and differentiation and analysis of relevant concepts,this paper,taking Lanzhou city as an example,constructs a definition index system on the urban fringe from four aspects,i.e.,population,landscaping,economy and society.It uses ＂the method of Breaking point＂ to define the scope of urban fringe in Lanzhou City,Gansu Province,China,systematically summarizing its features and functions in Lanzhou City,and searching the problems in land utilization,management and environment in the process of rapid urbanization in Lanzhou City.From the perspective of the overall requirement of urban development,this paper holds that the comparative advantage of urban fringe development should be taken into consideration to form rational functional localization,which is conducive to promoting coordinated development of urban and rural areas within urban regions in China.
