Breeding and utilization of new rice restorer CDR22 with strong restoring ability and high combining ability

摘要 以IR50为母本,恢复系明恢63为父本,采用系谱法和增加选择压的方法,经过4年8代育种筛选,选出恢复系CDR22。CDR22具有热带种质的遗传背景,恢复力强、配合力高、杂种优势明显、抗病性好、米质优、花粉量大、制种产量高等特点,在省内外已得到广泛利用,现已配制出岗优22、汕优22、矮优22、香优22、久优22、C优22等15个杂交稻新组合,投产组合已累计推广790.76万公顷,作为优良骨干亲本,已衍生出25个新恢复系。 CDR22, an indica restorer with genetic background of tropical rice resource, was developed by the Crop Research Institute of Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences from the cross of IR50 with Minghui 63. It has strong restoring ability,high combining ability,strong heterosis,resistance to blast,fine grain quality, heavy pollon load and high yield in its seed production. Hybrids Gangyou 22,Shanyou 22,Jiuyou 22,Xiangyou 22 and Aiyou 22 derived from male restorer CDR22 have been released and recommended to farmers. Up to 1998, 7. 9 million hectares in China have been extended. A total of 25 new restorers from the crosses of CDR22 with other strains have been developed.
