摘要
修辞叙事伦理是叙事伦理研究的一个分支,它强调作者、文本和读者反应的互动性和多层交流,注重研究文本自身形式和伦理意味的关联,为分析文本和获得各种阐释提供了有效的方法。把此理论用于分析美国华裔作家朱路易的《吃碗茶》,就能摆脱批评传统形成的阐释的束缚,解构作品中唯一女性美爱"荡妇"形象的阐释,赋予美爱全新的伦理判断和文化判断,从而使读者更加深入了解美国华裔文化。
Many approaches have been developed to ＂narrative ethics＂ ,and ＂rhetorical narrative ethics＂ is one of them. It stresses on the interaction and multilayered communication among author,text and readers and invites attention between techniques and ethics. It also offers a valuable method to analyze different texts and obtain different judgments. Based on this method,Chinese American writer Louis Chu＇s novel Eat a Bowl of Tea could escape the traditional interpretation and form its new ethic and cultural judgment：it helps to deconstruct Mei Oi＇s image as ＂a scarlet woman＂ ,the only female character in the novel,and establish the rebellious and independent image of Mei Oi,thus to enable readers to get deeper understanding of Chinese American culture.
