摘要
利用扫描电镜(SEM)观察了不同浓度的稀土元素铈对中国浙江诸暨三角帆蚌珍珠表面结构的影响,探讨了珍珠表面微结构和光泽度与养殖液中稀土含量的相关性.结果发现,当养殖液中不含稀土元素时,珍珠生长较缓慢,其表面主要由菱形和纺锤形文石层构成;当养殖液中添加1.0mg.L-1的稀土元素铈时,珍珠生长速度较快,珍珠表面微结构由菱形、纺锤形转变为结晶学上理想的正六边形文石晶片,说明适量的稀土元素能够促进珍珠的发育和生长,并能显著提高珍珠的表面光亮度;而当养殖液中稀土铈含量达1.5mg.L-1时,表面微结构又转变为圆形、椭圆形,珍珠粗糙度增加、光泽度降低.
The effects of rare earth elements(REE) Ce on the surface microstructure of pearls from micron-size to nanometer-size were studied by SEM observing,and the correlation of REE concentration with the surface microstructure and the physical properties(luster,roughness and concomitant color)of pearl were discussed.The results showed that the concentration of Ce played great influence to the ordering and compactness of layers,microlayers,blocks and aggregates of aragonite of pearls.The pearls in the control group(no REE) grew slowly and its surface microstructure was composed by the diamond and spindle aragonite layers.The pearls grew fast when added 1.0 mg·L^-1 REE Ce in the culture water and its surface microstructure was composed by the regular hexagon blocks,which were the ideal structure in the crystallography.It showed that proper quantities REE could improve the growth and the surface glossiness of pearls.But the surface microstructure of pearls turned into round and elliptical shape blocks when the concentration of REE was higher than 1.5 mg·L^-1,thus the roughness increased and the glossiness decreased.
