摘要
元认知是学习者对自身学习过程的自我认识和自我调控。调查发现学习者的学习策略特别是元认知能力的缺乏是制约目前大学英语写作成效的重要原因。进行元认知策略的培训有助于提高大学英语学习者的写作水平,在转变学生的学习观念和培养其自主学习能力方面也有很大的作用。
Writing is an indispensable part of English learning.This paper takes the quantitative and qualitative method to measure its effect and proves that a metacognitive strategy training program contribute to cultivate learner autonomy and encourage students to manage their own studies.The findings show that most students' metacognitive awareness and ability to use metacognitive strategy have been enhanced.It proves to be an effective way for non-English major learners to learn and practice metacognitive strategy to improve their ability and writing.
