摘要
镍电极在充电过程中由于析氧而使充电效率不高,添加钙化合物可以提高析氧过电位从而抑制氧气的析出,添加钴可以增加活性物质在放电过程中的导电性且有利于活性物质的转化反应,同时添加钴和钙可以显著提高活性物质的利用率和放电电位。
Nickel hydroxide electrode normally exhibits a poor charge acceptance resulting from the competitive reactions of the oxidation of active material and the evolution of oxygen.The addition of cobalt and calcium compound together to the nickel hydroxide can improve remarkably the utilization and discharge potential of active material,where the action of calcium additive is to increase the oxygen evolution potential,while the effects of cobalt is attributable to a good conductivity of the active material both for electrons and protons.
