摘要
英语文学课程是英语专业的主干课程之一,然而,英语文学课程目前的处境越来越尴尬。笔者认为,在英语文学课程教学过程中,应该分为初级阅读教学、次级阅读教学和阐释性文学教学等三大层次,并且认为教授者应该遵循它们各自的性质和特征进行教学。
Literature is one of the principal courses designed for English majors.However,its present situation is increasingly be-coming awkward.Based on an analysis of the situation of the course,this paper ventures to propose a hierarchy for English literature teaching,namely,the primary reading,the secondary reading,and the hermeneutic reading.Furthermore,the nature and characteristics of each stage should be carefully observed.
