This paper introduces the basic situation of Datong-Qinhuangdao Line and the train formation structures and modes of Datong-Qinhuangdao Line,analyzes the probability of implementing the heavy load transportation mode on Datong-Qinhuangdao Line,and probes into the development direction of heavy load transportation organization of DatongQinhuangdao Line.
