摘要
为解决基于递归分割的曲面建模方法在实际应用过程中存在的问题,对递归分割曲面编辑方面的裁剪问题进行研究,提出一种带形状参数的三角形网格平面裁剪算法。由于在平面展开图中三角形的形态更接近该三角形在裁剪曲面的空间形态,因此在平面展开图上进行三角划分的方法,可以减少狭长三角形的数量,通过对裁剪区域的简化避免了合并三角形的繁杂运算,对于解决裁剪操作中三角形网格品质要求与相似性要求之间的矛盾,提供了一种可供选择的方法。进行了封闭、非封闭、单连通和多连通三角网格的裁剪操作,以实例验证了该方法的可行性。该算法可为研究同类问题提供参考。
The schemes of recursive-subdivision-based surface modeling have great application potential due to its simplicity and high efficiency;therefore get great attention in CAD/CG.However,there are still some issues remained in practical application.To enhance its application in product modeling and mechanical manufacturing,investigated it as follow: in the aspect of surface editing,a novel trimming scheme is presented.This scheme not only settled the conflict between high triangle quality and surface comparability,but also unified the trimming operation of single connected surface and multiple connected surface.Finally,it has confirmed this method feasibility by the example.
