摘要
语言既能习得也会磨蚀,提高和巩固习得来的英语能力,减缓和防范英语磨蚀是英语教育者必须面对的难题。大学英语作为英语学习冲刺阶段,对提高和维护学生英语能力负有重要使命。针对语言磨蚀的本质特征及诱发因素,有效防范英语磨蚀,建设大学英语应该开设后续课程,并就课程的开设提出了相关建议。
The development of reserach on language attrition shed much light on the theoretical research of college English teaching,which plays a vital role in developing and maintaining college students＇ English competence.This paper,based on the concept of language attrition and factors affecting English attriton,explains why it is necessary to redesign college English curriculum.Moreover,some suggestions are made on how to offer extended classes to prevent students＇ English attrition.
