摘要
雅可布逊在20世纪的诗学研究中曾受到19世纪英国诗人霍普金斯的诗歌创作和诗学研究的启示。雅可布逊在划分诗语和非诗语的界限时试图探寻诗语独具的内在本质,即诗功能的机制。而霍普金斯的一些理论观点恰好为雅可布逊诗学范式的建立提供了有力的支持。从对声音的符号物性、声音与意义的关联、平行概念的拓展,到对等原则的构建、意指功能的开发,都足以说明雅可布逊有效地继承和超越了霍普金斯的诗学研究思想。本文试图从对霍普金斯继承与超越两个方面论述雅可布逊诗学范式的来源。
Jakobson is an influential figure in 20th century poetics study and in his poetics research,traces of Hopkins＇ poetry and poetic studies are quite obvious,the latter being a great British poet as well as scholar in poetry.Jakobson＇s poetic study was marked by his persistent efforts to discover the intrinsic nature of poetic texts,which also serves to distinguish poetic language from non-poetic language.Hopkins provided Jakobson＇s poetic function model with ample theoretical supports.It can be argued that Jakobson has effectively inherited and transcended Hopkins＇ poetic views in that he both adapted and extended Hopkins＇ concept of sound,sound-meaning relationship,parallelism as well formed Jakobsonian unique concept of principle of equivalence and signifying function of poetic text.The paper hence attempts to illustrate the origin of Jakobsonian poetic paradigm through his inheritance and extension of Hopkins＇ poetic studies.
